Im am over the moon with these publications. Worth the small investment for such a plethora of information. I look forward to each new release and take the slow path when reading through the new issue. I go back and re-read old ones often. I love how each issue highlights a variety of amazing and talented artists, with an interview and showcases some of their art. I love reading about how they got their start, types of mediums they love to use,etc. It incorporates step by step photos of their process, and or incorporates a video. Even better when it includes free downloads. All I can say is keep em coming!!!!!

Overall, I was disappointed with this magazine. I tried Issue 8 and found that some of the images were blurry. Also, the layout and design is rather amateurish. On the positive side, I appreciated that the font size was good, which made the text easy to read. There were some good tips and techniques included that I will be able to use in my own artwork. However, unless the visual presentation of the magazine improves I wont be buying another issue.

I like the format that the editors used. Not only did I learn some new art but a lot about the artist. A nice magazine.

This digital magazine is a pleasure to read. There are some fun topics included in the two issues I have and the photos are lovely. Everything that I have looked at is inspiring.

First time seeing the digital copy - been home and under the weather for a few days and am so blessed and inspired by the artists, their stories and "how" they create - it makes me want to go out to my carriage house and create - I cant wait to see back issues

So many wonderful ideas, interviews, videos--I pour over each issue and retread it numerous times. Better than anything in print!!

I love the feel of a real magazine, so I wasnt sure about a digital art journaling one. heART Journal Magazine pleasantly surprised me with being so user friendly with lots of images, videos, step-by-step photos, and lovely links that take you right to the artists websites and more info. Well done! The articles are personal, many in an interview type of format. The examples shown in the issue are both creative and doable. The artists include information on the materials they use. It is especially useful for those beginning to art journal or exploring a new medium. I was introduced to my first issue (#8) by Bernice Hopper who wrote "The Art of Practicing Gratitude" and have enjoyed participating in the online art journaling groups she organizes and facilitates.

This is a great app with lots of ideas for creative journaling. I love combining art with journaling. Thank you for putting this together. I look forward to each new edition.

I really love this magazine. Great info and interviews!

I am very disappointed with the new format. It is worse and made it much more difficult to navigate through the e-magazine. The developers should look at other e-mags and copy their format (such as Readers Digest and Sunset magazine - theirs are super good). The art is bright and beautiful on my iPad, but there is skimpy content. Just not much there.
